My continued interests are in the teaching of academic writers to multilinguals. Pedagogically, I am particularly interested in applying Systemic Function Grammar (SFL) to pedagogy, action-research, and teacher-training. Research interests include how language policy/ideologies socially position multilingual students and how this social positioning can affect students' identity(s) as well as their overall educational experience.
