Writing for ESL Graduate Students
3 units - offered Winter and Spring Quarters
This course focuses on the academic and professional writing skills
required of graduate students and researchers. Students work on writing
summaries, critiques, research and grant proposals, lab reports, memos,
job applications, and research papers. Students receive feedback on
organization, style, grammar, and word choice. The courses includes a
review of English grammar as needed for writing clearly and accurately
at the professional level. Offered Winter and Spring quarters.
We will be offering 4 sections of this course in Winter. Schedule TBA.
